COAST GUARD RADIO STATION SAN FRANCISCO

The Coast Guard Radio Station (NMC)San Bruno California is shown including the towers, radio station, quarters and garage with road connecting them. In the right foreground is located the county jail. This is basically how it looked when I was stationed there. I understand since the station relocated to the Point Reyes area that this is now wall to wall residential homes.

Vehicle was one of two assigned to Radio Station SF (San Bruno). Rm1 A. Kieth Tennier on mike with RM2 Avery. This photo was taken while doing a a Northern California communications survey to determine the best location of a new Communication Station.

Photo taken during same survey with me (then RM3)at the old Russian settlement of Fort Ross CA. The selected site of Point Reyes was not far from here.

This is the current location of NMC which is located within the Point Reyes National Seashore north of San Francisco. CDR Ellia was the first Executive Officer (XO).
