CUBAN "FISHING VESSEL"
Summer 1980
This is a photo of a Cuban "fishing boat" that was shadowing the CGC POINT HIGHLAND about 60 miles south of
Key West during the Cuban Boat Lift. The vessel was following the PT HIGHLAND fairly close when the Cutter turned hard and
came up behind him enabling this photo. I am sure that every Coast Guardsman that has been on LE patrols can remember these
"cat and mouse games.
